This morning, you take the train west towards the fjords. This beautiful journey is one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. It passes through the countryside, mountains and high plateau of Hardangervidda before dropping you off in Myrdal. From there, you board the famous Flamsbana, a small train with an impressive difference in altitude that takes you to Flam in the hollow of the fjord. It makes its way between the mountains and torrents of an ice blue, offering an impressive landscape. Here you are in Flam on the shores of the Sognefjord. Check-in at the hotel in the heart of the fjords. Dinner and overnight at Fretheim Hotel or similar. In the evening, don't hesitate to discover the Aegir Micro-Brewery, in a warm atmosphere inspired by Viking architecture. This brewery is one of the best in the country and has won several awards internationally.

Located at the terminus of the unique Flamsbana, and with the UNESCO World Heritage Site Naeroyfjord nearby, Fretheim Hotel has been attracting guests from all over the world since the end of the 19th century.
