Upon arrival at Seoul International airport, you will be welcomed by our local representatives and transferred to your hotel in Seoul. The rest of your day is free for you to relax or start your exploration of the city. Dinner at leisure and overnight at your hotel in Seoul.

Surrounded by mountains and divided by the Han River, Seoul is a dynamic capital where ancient traditions blend seamlessly with modern innovation. From royal palaces and bustling markets to vibrant neighborhoods and striking skyscrapers, the city offers a unique balance of history, culture, and contemporary lifestyle. Its diverse culinary scene and energetic atmosphere make it a fascinating gateway to discovering South Korea.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting off on a guided city tour of Seoul. You will begin your day at Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its elegant architecture and beautifully preserved grounds. You will then continue to Gwangjang Market, one of the city’s most famous traditional markets, where you can experience local daily life. Next, you will visit the National Museum of Korea, one of the largest museums in the world, showcasing Korea’s history from ancient dynasties to the modern era.

For lunch, you will have free time at COEX Mall, home to the iconic Byeolmadang Library, known for its impressive multi-storey bookshelves and contemporary design. You will end your day at N Seoul Tower on Mount Namsan, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the city. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay in Seoul. (Breakfast)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will travel to the Korean Folk Village, a living museum where you will see traditional houses, crafts, and customs from Korea’s past. You will then continue to Songnisan National Park to visit Beopjusa Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to Korea’s tallest Buddha statue. Lunch at leisure before your visit to Beopjusa Temple. After the visit, you will travel onward to Daegu. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay at your hotel in Daegu. (Breakfast)

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, you will visit the Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine, located within the historic herbal medicine market that has served the region since the 17th century. You will then continue to Seomun Market, one of Daegu’s best-known traditional markets.

After your visits, you will be transferred to Gyeongju, the capital of the ancient Silla Kingdom. Lunch at leisure en route. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a stop for traditional tea at a local café before visiting Cheomseongdae Observatory and Royal Tumuli Park, where you will learn about royal burial traditions. You will also have the opportunity to enter one of the excavated tombs. You will then transfer to your hotel and check in. Enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Gyeongju. After breakfast at your hotel, you will begin your day with two of Korea’s most important heritage sites: Bulguksa Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Seokguram Grotto (UNESCO World Heritage Site), known for its serene stone Buddha and scenic mountain setting. You will then continue your journey toward Busan, the second-largest city in Korea.

Upon arrival, you will start your exploration with a visit to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a rare seaside temple offering beautiful coastal views. Next, you will enjoy time at Haeundae Beach, where you will have lunch at a local restaurant ($). Afterward, you will take a walk around Dongbaekseom Island and visit Nurimaru APEC House, known for its modern design and panoramic seaside views. You will then check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in Busan. (Breakfast)

Breakfast at your hotel. Today, you will discover Busan’s most iconic neighborhoods and markets. You will begin in Gamcheon Culture Village, known for its colorful hillside streets, murals, and charming cafés. You will then continue to Songdo Beach and enjoy a ride on the Songdo Marine Cable Car (Air-cruise cabin) for panoramic coastal views. Next, you will head to Jagalchi Fishery Market, Busan’s most famous seafood market.

Lunch at leisure at a local restaurant near the market. Afterward, you will spend time at BIFF Square and Nampodong Shopping Street, where you can explore local shops and sample street snacks. You will finish the day at Busan Tower in Yongdusan Park, where you can take in panoramic views over the city. The rest of the evening will be at leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in Busan. After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Mount Gayasan National Park to visit Haeinsa Temple, home to the world-famous Tripitaka Koreana — over 80,000 woodblocks carved with Buddhist scriptures and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, on your way to Andong, you will stop for lunch at leisure. Upon arrival, you will visit Hahoe Folk Village (UNESCO World Heritage Site), known for its well-preserved traditional houses and rich cultural heritage. You will then continue your journey toward Chungju. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in Chungju. (Breakfast)

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will enjoy a 1-hour sightseeing boat cruise* on Chungju Lake, taking in the peaceful lakeside scenery. You will then continue to Samhwasa Temple for a unique temple cultural program. Upon arrival, you will change into the provided temple uniform and receive a brief introduction to the temple experience. You will enjoy a guided visit of the temple grounds, followed by a vegetarian dinner served as part of the program. The experience concludes with participation in an evening Buddhist ceremony. Breakfast at your hotel before continuing your journey to the Goseong DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), one of the closest viewpoints toward North Korea, offering views of Mount Geumgangsan. You will visit the DMZ Museum, where you will gain valuable insight into the history of the zone and its ecological significance. Lunch on your own near the DMZ. Afterward, you will continue your journey to Sokcho and spend time at Daepo Harbor and Fish Market, a lively seaside area known for its fresh seafood, local specialties, and market stalls. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at your hotel in Sokcho. (Breakfast)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will explore Mt. Seorak National Park, including a visit to Shinheungsa Temple and a cable car ride to Gwongeumseong Fortress, where you will enjoy scenic mountain views. You will then continue to Gapyeong to visit the Garden of Morning Calm, a peaceful landscaped park featuring seasonal flowers and forested paths set in a mountain valley. Lunch on your own at the Garden, an ideal setting to enjoy a picnic on sunny days. After your visit, you will be transferred back to Seoul. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in Seoul.
