After breakfast, depart Nairobi and journey through Kenya's scenic highlands, descending into the Great Rift Valley. En route, drive pass the historical chapel built by Italian POWs and the Longonot Earth Satellite Station. Enjoy lunch at your camp, followed by your first exciting afternoon game drive, returning to the camp as the sun sets.

Situated in the Oloolaimutia valley, the lodge blends perfectly in with the surrounding hillside. Located 230 km south west of Nairobi, Kenya's capital, inside of East Africa's leading game reserve, Masai Mara.

The lodge is designed as a hut and the interior reflects the Masai culture and art. ''Sopa'' which means "welcome" in the Masai language, which accents the lodge and surroundings with an abundance of wildlife, birdlife and flora that is found throughout the reserve.

The concept of the lodge is environmental care and conservation for the surrounding area, since the impact around that area could be disastrous. The lodge strives to set an example of going "green".

Masai Mara Sopa Lodge

Start the day with breakfast followed by a morning game drive, returning mid-morning to relax before lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive with a visit to a local Masai Village, returning to camp at sunset.

Depart the Mara after breakfast, traveling across Kenya's agricultural heartland through Narok to the Rift Valley floor. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its birdlife and endangered species, including flamingoes, black and white rhinos, and Rothschild giraffes. Return to the camp at sunset.

Located on a range of hills that form the western limits of Africa's Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge offers spectacular views over Lake Nakuru and it's surrounding National Park, one that is a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife lovers alike. The lounge, bar and dining room have extensive outdoor but sheltered terraces. The infinity-view swimming pool overlooks the lake and has its own bar.

After an early breakfast, head to Lake Naivasha for a tranquil boat ride. Continue south via Nairobi, where you'll stop for a hot lunch or picnic lunch (depending on travel conditions), then journey through the Athi Plains to reach Amboseli National Park by late afternoon.

Located in the Amboseli National Park, between Nairobi and the Kenyan coast. At the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, lies the Amboseli Sopa Lodge on 200 acres of beautiful land. With Kilimanjaro's 6, 000 meter high snow-capped peaks presiding over the landscape, the setting is unrivalled.

The lodge has 18 deluxe rooms, 20 double rooms and 9 single rooms. Each room has its own bathroom, and private verandah. The lodge also has a swimming pool, curio shop, restaurant, several bars, and TV and video room. The lodge is also guarded 24 hours a day.

Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in Amboseli, famous for its elephant herds and stunning views of Kilimanjaro. A picnic lunch is included during your game drive. Return to the camp by 16:00 hrs for time to unwind before dinner.

Following an early breakfast, take in your final glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather conditions permitting) before departing for Nairobi. Arrive early afternoon.
