This morning, join your driver-guide for a full-day, small group tour of the American landing sites in Omaha and Utah sectors. With your guide, you will walk along the sand on Omaha Beach, following the footsteps of the brave soldiers who lost their lives. You will visit the American Cemetery where many named and unnamed soldiers are buried. Driving along the coast, you will reflect at the German Cemetery at La Cambe and explore the cliffs at Pointe-du-Hoc, including an original German bunker and large craters from bombings. After a lunch break (meal not included), you will drive westward towards Utah sector and Sainte-Mere-Eglise, the first village freed by American forces. You will visit the Airborne Museum in Sainte-Mere-Eglise, showcasing original gliders and planes used during the attacks. Your final stop is a walk along Utah Beach with a visit to the Utah Museum.
