This delightful Levada walk leads you through Madeira's enchanting landscape along the Machico Valley trail. Commencing in the tranquil valley of Machico, nestled in the island's southeast, this route promises an easy yet captivating stroll. Known affectionately as "Mimosa Valley," it unveils panoramic vistas of Machico Valley, where Portuguese explorers first set foot on the island, and the allure of the Deserted Islands afar. Meandering through verdant farmlands adorned with bountiful vegetable patches, fruit orchards, and vibrant exotic blooms, the trail offers a symphony of colors and scents. Immerse yourself in nature's embrace as you tread this picturesque path of tranquility. The walk is rated as easy in difficulty level and 6.5 kilometers or 4 miles in length.

On this small group tour, you will head to the north coast to Sao Vicente in the North Coast, known for its vineyards, volcanic caves and Madeira table wine production. Then visit Seixal's lava pools to see one of the most famous waterfall that by resembling a bride's veil got its name Veu da Noiva. Afterwards, stop at the natural volcanic pools in Porto Moniz, one of the most visited places in Madeira, having the opportunity to swim in crystalline waters (entry not included) and enjoy the beautiful scenery around them. After this, go uphill to Fanal, a place of rare beauty with centenary trees in the heart of the Laurissilva Forest (the largest in the world), which is one of the 7th Natural Wonders of Portugal. Continuing to Paul da Serra, the biggest plateau of the island at nearly 1500 mts high with stunning views. To finish our tour, drive to Cabo Girao, the highest Sea Cliff in Europe and the second in the World with 580 meters, better known for its suspended glass floor Viewpoint.

In Madeira's fertile hills and valleys, wine is more than a drink; it embodies memory, tradition, and identity. This exclusive full-day experience invites you to explore that heritage through wine and local cuisine. Guided by a certified expert, you'll visit three family-owned estates, meet producers, and taste 13 wines. Beginning in Câmara de Lobos, enjoy fresh white, rosé, and red wines. In São Vicente, discover unique vineyards shaped by the island's landscape. A traditional lunch highlights local flavors. Returning to Funchal, the tour ends with contemporary vintages, showcasing the complexity and enduring legacy of Madeira wine.
