At the end of the crevice, facing the open ocean, it is possible to enjoy the view from Crown Princess Mary’s Bench. We suggest that you visit the island of Kunoy. From the tiny village of Kunoy is a beautiful view of the island of Kalsoy. Above the village is a small cozy park. A local legend tells that up on a high mountain in Kunoy lies a plank from Noah’s ark. Clams and sea shells grow on it. People, who have gotten lost in the fog have seen the plank, but no one who has gone looking for it has ever found it. Back on Eysturoy we recommend driving towards the village of Toftir to drive to Torshavn through the new subsea tunnel. Overnight in Torshavn.
