Summary

Abu Simbel tour

Breakfast on the ship. Around 3:30 AM, you will be transferred by bus to Abu Simbel, located 280 km away.

Upon arrival, you will visit the two temples built by the pharaoh Ramses II, often referred to as Ramses the Great. The 100-foot-high Great Temple is breathtaking with the 4 statues of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari. You will have a two-hour guided visit of this historic and sacred site before to head back to the ship for lunch.

 

Departure flight to Cairo.

Arrival at the airport in Cairo, a bustling metropolis that seamlessly blends ancient history with modern life. You will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting the customs and transferred to your hotel in Cairo. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the facilities of your hotel. Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Cairo. (Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will discover the world-famous pyramids of Giza. On the Giza Plateau just outside of Cairo, you will be impressed by the Pyramid of Cheops, the largest of the three pyramids, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one to remain largely intact. Enjoy some free time to wander around this amazing site, take pictures, and visit the interior chambers ($) of the Great Pyramid of Giza. You will then discover the Sphinx of Giza, with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, who is watching over the pyramids before heading for lunch at a local restaurant. 

In the afternoon, you will visit the brand-new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), home to the world's largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Early transfer to the airport in Cairo for your flight to Luxor (Breakfast box offered by the hotel).

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be transferred to the port to check in on your Nile ship. Luxor, located along the banks of the Nile River, is often referred to as the "world's greatest open-air museum," and is renowned for its rich history and pharaonic heritage.You will start your journey with the visit to the famous temple of Karnac, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in the world. It is renowned for its grandiose columns, massive pylons, and intricate hieroglyphics, providing a glimpse into the religious and architectural achievements of ancient Egypt.

You will then take the road to see the unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk. You will return to the ship and relax on the ship ‘sundeck. Dinner and overnight stay on board, docked on the Nile's edge. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Breakfast on board. In the early morning, you can get the chance to fly on a hot air balloon (Approx $135 USD, payable onsite to your guide) before heading to the famous Valley of the Kings with the group. Located on the west bank of the Nile, the Valley of the Kings is a burial ground that houses the tombs of many pharaohs. You will visit 3 beautiful tombs with your guide and have the opportunity to visit the famous tomb of Tutankhamun (Approx $15 USD). You will also stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep.

You will then take the direction of the stunning Temple of Hatshepsut, dubbed the "Sublime of the Sublimes" where you will learn about one of the only female pharaohs who reigned in Egypt. Return to the ship where you will have lunch. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Nile while you are cruising toward Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

After breakfast on board, you will visit the temple dedicated to Horus, in Edfu, which is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. It was built between 237 and 57 BC. You will go back to the ship to have lunch on board. In the afternoon you will sail toward Kom Ombo, where you will visit a temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. You will discover a Nilometer on site and a small museum displaying mummified crocodiles. You will then navigate to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Breakfast on board. Today, you have the opportunity to discover the most impressive temple of Egypt: Abu Simbel ($) or simply relax on the ship. Lunch on board and afternoon at leisure to enjoy the pool. The guide will also offer you the possibility to visit a Nubian village ($) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board. Optional excursion ($) to Abu Simbel:

Around 3:30 AM, you will be transferred by bus to Abu Simbel, located 280 km away (Breakfast bags given). Upon arrival, you will visit two magnificent temples, surrounded by a lake, built by the pharaoh Ramses II. The 100-foot-high Great Temple is one of the most breathtaking temples of Egypt with the 4 statues of Ramses II. You will have approx. two hours to wander these historic and sacred sites before making your way back to the ship for lunch.

After breakfast on board, you will disembark from the ship and start your day with a visit of the Aswan High Dam, which is providing electricity to the whole country. Your visit continues with a small boat ride to reach the beautiful Philae Temple, located on a small island and dedicated to the goddess Isis. 

You will then take the road to see the unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will be transferred from Aswan to Luxor by train. Evening at leisure in Luxor. Dinner at the hotel and overnight at your hotel in Luxor. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred by bus to your hotel in Makadi (Hurghada). Check-in and relax in the comfortable facilities of the all-inclusive Prima Life Makadi 5* Resort (or similar). (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Enjoy 2 days on the shores of the Red Sea, unwind by remembering the unforgettable sites you have visited while laying on a beautiful beach. You can also choose from a wide variety of optional excursions ($) offered by our local representative, such as a snorkeling or diving trip, a 4x4 desert safari, or spend a magical day in Paradise Island. After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Dubai.

Arrival at the airport in Dubai. You will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting the customs and transferred to your hotel in Dubai. The rest of the day is free for you to discover this beautiful city. (Breakfast)

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a full-day tour of Dubai. You will discover the Burj Al Arab hotel for photos before seeing the awe-inspiring Grand Mosque of Jumeirah. Built-in medieval Fatimid style, this stone structure is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture. You will then proceed to Bastakyia, the old town district of Dubai, where you will visit the Dubai Museum located in the ancient fortress of Al Fahidi. Using local water taxis called Abras to cross Dubai Creek, enjoy spectacular views of the city while heading towards the district of Deira. Here, you will be enchanted by the large variety of exotic spices in the famous Spice Souk. Take the chance to get a unique souvenir while visiting the adjacent Gold Souk. You will then stop at the well-known Burj Khalifa located in Dubai Mall. Free time for lunch before continuing your tour to the Palm Jumeirah. You will then explore the vibrant Dubai Marina, before ending at the famous Mall of the Emirates. Rest of the day at leisure. (Breakfast) 

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a full-day tour of Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. Your first stop will be at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, completely cladded in marble and featuring intricate Islamic decorations and carvings as well as extensive landscaping. Then, you will continue your tour towards the Yas island and its Red Ferrari largest covered park. Stop at the biggest mall of Abu Dhabi for lunch before driving through the giant Saadiyat natural Island project. Visit of the famous Louvre museum before heading back to Dubai. The tour ends near the Mall of the Emirates, you will have the rest of the evening to enjoy a nice dinner in one of the many restaurants available in Dubai. (Breakfast-Lunch)

Following breakfast, you will take the road to reach Sharjah. You will pass by King Faisal Mosque and the Fort of Sharjah, former residence of the ruling family, before visiting the Sharjah Heritage Museum which conserves and displays the rich traditional customs and culture of Sharjah as a source of pride and inspiration to Emiratis and the visitors to the UAE. After the visit, you will have time to explore the colorful Souq Al Arsa, which is a veritable treasure trove of carpets, jewelry, and more. Free time for lunch before driving through the desert of golden sand dunes. After witnessing a memorable, true Arabian sunset with its glory and magic, you will reach the main campsite where you will get the chance to experience a complimentary camel ride.  A delicious barbecue dinner will be prepared on open fires to the sound of an orchestra, soon joined by a traditional dancer.
