The tour includes several stops, including Cerro Santa Lucía, Plaza de Armas, the Santiago Cathedral, La Moneda, and Plaza de la Constitución, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views and learn about the city’s history. You will also pass by the Central Market, one of Santiago’s most iconic gastronomic hubs, and stop at a lapis lazuli store to admire unique local jewelry and crafts. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Lunch and the afternoon are at leisure to continue exploring the capital on your own. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay in Santiago. You will then continue on to your next destination. Upon arrival in Valparaíso, often referred to as “Valpo”, you will explore the downtown area before taking one of the city’s historic funiculars up the steep hills, where a maze of streets reveals brightly colored houses, bohemian cafés, elegant restaurants, and stunning views of the harbor. You will visit on foot two of its most iconic neighborhoods, Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre, and enjoy a panoramic view of La Sebastiana, one of Pablo Neruda’s former homes, now converted into a museum.

Then, you will continue to Viña del Mar for lunch in a local restaurant ($). You will cross the valley, stopping at various formations along the way, including the Ckari viewpoint, where you’ll enjoy panoramas of the Salt Mountain Range and the Andes with its impressive volcanoes. As sunset approaches, the desert sky shifts into vibrant shades of red and fuchsia, creating a breathtaking spectacle that you will enjoy with a delicious cocktail. Early departure for your full-day tour in the desert, where you will discover salt flats, lagoons, small villages, and the vast Altiplano. Breakfast will be served en route. Your first stop will be the Chaxa Salt Flat, a lagoon within the Atacama Salt Flat known for its beautiful landscapes and tranquil mirror-like waters, home to a variety of birds and flamingos. You will then pass through the villages of Toconao and Socaire, traditionally built with volcanic stone, before reaching the Los Flamencos National Reserve, where you will see the spectacular high-altitude lagoons. Located at more than 4,000 meters above sea level, at the foot of two massive volcanoes, these lagoons offer breathtaking scenery.

The journey continues to the Talar Salt Flat (Aguas Calientes III), famous for its striking contrasts of turquoise and calypso-colored waters. Finally, you will stop at the Red Rocks viewpoint, a stone platform known for its reddish hue caused by the oxidation of iron. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner at leisure and overnight stay in San Pedro de Atacama. (Breakfast-Lunch)

Start your day with an early departure to the famous Geyser del Tatio, set over 14,000 feet above sea level in the Andes. After the visit, enjoy breakfast in the area before beginning your return journey.

On the way back, you will pass through the Machuca wetlands, a slow-flowing oasis that supports diverse flora and fauna. The wetland takes its name from the nearby village of Machuca, a small settlement of straw, and cactus-wood houses that you will see along the route. You will also stop at the Putana wetland, a nesting area for migratory birds and an excellent advantage offering sweeping views of the Altiplano, surrounding mountain ranges, and distant volcanoes.
